Questions
Is TruckSpeak an official test?
No. TruckSpeak is an independent practice app. It is not connected to DOT, FMCSA, CVSA or any government agency, and its score does not predict what an officer will decide.
Will this make me pass an inspection?
No app can promise that. TruckSpeak helps you practice the questions, answers and signs so you feel more prepared and confident.
Will my accent lower my score?
No. TruckSpeak checks whether you understood the question and gave the key information. If the phone's speech recognition can't catch your words, you try again or choose the answer you meant — it is never counted against you.
Can I use it while driving?
Only listen-only mode, started before you drive. Interactive practice locks while the truck moves. Phone apps are also not allowed during a real inspection — practice before.
Do you record my voice?
No. Your phone's speech recognition turns your answer into text for checking. TruckSpeak does not save audio, and there is no account.
How do I cancel?
The 7-day pass never renews. Monthly and yearly plans can be cancelled anytime: iPhone — Settings › your name › Subscriptions; Android — Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.
